Year 7 creative responses

Year 7 library lessons aim to provide students with the freedom and space to interpret and respond to texts that have inspired them, in a way that they enjoy.

Students are asked to submit a creative response four times across the academic year.

It is the most wonderful experience when students turn in a range of responses that they have linked to texts that they have enjoyed, from poetry to paintings, cakes to character profiles, wood carvings to witches spells and much, much more.

We do not underestimate the support that you, as parents and carers, give to the students when they are completing this task. We would like to use this space to share some amazing creative responses that the Year 7s have produced.

Thank you so much for all that you do. We hope that you enjoy learning about your children's reading for pleasure journey here at SWCHS.
