We are looking to appoint enthusiastic, hardworking Teaching Assistants to join our outstanding, dynamic Learning Support department. We are currently transitioning into a curriculum based model of support where TAs will be primarily based in subject areas. This is an outstanding opportunity for those looking to become a teacher, offering insight and close working relationships with departments. This would also be brilliant for those who have a passion and skills in a particular area of the curriculum. We are currently looking for TAs to support the following subjects:
- Business and Computing
- Drama and Music
- French and German
We welcome applications from anyone interested in making a positive difference to the educational experience of young people with learning difficulties. Experience in the above areas is not essential as we will support successful candidates with a robust induction programme.
What you can expect from us:
- A supportive school with staff well-being at its core
- Up to date training on areas of SEN
- Coaching and Mentoring opportunities
- A dynamic department with career progression
- Hard working students
- An induction programme tailored to your needs
What we require of you:
- A commitment to support our most vulnerable learners
- A willingness to learn through experience and training
- A passion for working with children with SEND.
We welcome applications from those with experience or those wishing to make their first journey into education and SEND.
If you are a passionate, creative and an organised individual who wants to have a real impact with students, this could be the role for you.
We operate a bike to work scheme and there is an early years nursery on site.
