Cover Teacher/Cover Supervisor
This would be a temporary appointment until the end of the summer term, in the first instance, but on-going employment might be a possibility, depending on staffing requirements. For teaching colleagues, this would be paid at their MPS rate; the support staff rate would be for 30 hours a week, term-time only on a gross range of points 7-9 (£20,092-£20,903, which would equate to a maximum pro-rata of £14,074). Additional pay would be available for optional lunchtime supervision duties.
The successful candidate would join our experienced and happy cover team of two cover supervisors and 4 student support officers and have responsibility for supervising classes during teacher absence. There would also be opportunities for the successful candidate to work with our pastoral and administrative teams.
We are looking for candidates with experience of having worked in a school environment.
This would be a good opportunity for someone considering a move into teaching or to someone wishing to move from their current responsibilities.
