HR Administrator
Salary: Point range 12-17 Actual £17,381.04 - £18,854.28 (Range: £28,598 to £31,022 fte)
Hours: 25 hours a week, 5 days a week, term time only plus 2 weeks (total 41 weeks) 2 weeks to worked during school closure period.
Working pattern: there is flexibility over start/end times whilst ensuring key business needs are met.
Closing date: 2nd February 2026
The opportunity has arisen for an experienced and enthusiastic HR Administrator to join our school. The successful applicant will provide full administrative support and will be supported by colleagues within the Saffron Academy Trust.
The ideal candidate will have excellent administration and communication skills, a flexible and adaptable approach to meeting changing priorities as well as computer literacy. The ability to work calmly under pressure is crucial to this role as well as an understanding of handling sensitive data.
You will have:
- experience of working in a HR environment or higher level administrative role
- knowledge of HR policies and processes
- effective written and oral communication skills
- the ability to work proactively
- the ability to work effectively individually and also as part of a team complementing the work of Saffron Academy Trust

You don’t have to have worked in an education environment before but a passion for helping improve the education of our students through providing high quality HR support is desirable.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is looking to start or take the next step within their HR career and gain extensive generalist experience. Support will be offered to the successful candidate to obtain their CIPD qualification (if not already held) through the apprenticeship scheme.
