Saffron Walden County High School Trust

(Registered Charity No. 298343)

The Trust’s purpose is to raise additional funds to improve the quality of our buildings and equipment so that students have access to the best possible resources. First class schools need first class facilities. In recent years the Trust has supported the refurbishment of the school dining hall, the construction of a multipurpose sports pavilion and the provision of a new minibus. We have recently provided an online version of the Encyclopaedia Britannica in the Learning Centre, available for every student to use in research tasks, and are also committed to establishing a nature reserve which will provide much needed facilities for science and other courses. None of these projects would be possible without the support of the Trust.

We hope you will support the Trust in its important work by making a donation. Regular contributions are particularly welcome as they provide a predictable income which helps the Trustees plan for the future. We suggest a donation of £10, £20, £50 or £100 per annum or a donation of £2, £5 or £10 per month. We cannot emphasise too strongly that smaller (or larger) contributions are equally welcome, as are single gifts.

The Trust can reclaim UK basic rate income tax (or capital gains tax) you have paid on all donations. This is of enormous benefit and can add £2.82 to every £10 you give us.
