Latin

PSHEE is taught through timetable collapses for years 7 to 11. A spiral approach to the curriculum is used whereby students revisit health, drugs and sex education throughout their time at SWCHS.
RPE/SPE
RPE and SPE aim to provide students with a critical understanding of a range of contemporary issues.
Science
We will promote excellence in Science, ensuring every student reaches his or her full potential in a stimulating, exciting and well-resourced environment.
Year 7
Students begin Year 7 being taught, for nearly all subjects, in their form groups so that they develop friendships and more importantly effective working relationships.
Year 11
Students in Year 11 are in their final year of G.C.S.E. preparation and the specific focus for the year is on examination success.
